Feb 06, 2014 I just want a +/- 256 gig SSD drive that has a reliable track record to work well with an EARLY 2011 Macbook Pro, has a good warranty, and is cheap. If money wasn't an issue, I'd go with an intel or samsung 840 Pro, however, I don't currently have that change laying around. My Macbook pro feels like it's giving its dying breaths when trying to run Yosemite, and I've been doing research on amazon for buying a new SSD and RAM combination to give it new life. I have read a ton of different reviews on amazon, but I honestly don't know if the SSD I buy actually matters.
