To preserve your hidden text, save a copy of the document after removing the hidden text, keeping the original. Hidden text is marked with a dotted underline, but it would be very time consuming to manually look for every occurrence of hidden text. We will use the Find and Replace feature to search for and remove the hidden text from the document. Neat software for mac review.
I need to be able to view the hidden characters (tab, return, etc) in a notepad text document. We used to be able to view the ascii characters but I can't find anything to do that. The “What’s This?” button has been replaced in Word 2002 and above by the Reveal Formatting task pane, which gives you specific information about the text at the insertion point (font, paragraph, and even section formatting).
